Collective Autonomy

Collective Autonomy pursues an ongoing path across the terrain of music composition, improvisation, and written text. I coined the term, Collective Autonomy, in 1987. It seemed to me a cogent way of expressing verbally that which I'd been trying to formalize through music-making: to liberate creative inclinations, whatever their nature or description, from the hegemony of imported models while accessing structures and processes that place in high relief the notion of ‘interdependence’.
